
Nathalie Emmanuel (born in Southend-on-Sea in Essex, United Kingdom) is an English actor. Most famously, she is Missandei in the HBO Fantasy drama Game of Thrones (2011). Nathalie is an English actress, born in Southend-on-Sea (Essex), England. Her father is of Saint Lucian descent. Her mother is English, as well as her mother Dominican. Nathalie is grateful to her mother for her initial inspiration to be an actor. She played Young Nala in The West End Production of The Lion King when she was aged 10. FHM magazine put Emmanuel 99th in their ranking of the 100 most sexy women in 2013. In April, 2015, Emmanuel was featured in InStyle magazine as well as GQ.
