Antonina (or Antonia) Shevchenko fights as a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thailand fighter in the UFC's flyweight division. Valentina Shevchenko, who is a former UFC Flyweight titleholder, and UFC fellow fighter is her older sister. Antonina Shevchenko began her fight sport career by becoming an Muay Thai kickboxer. Antonina Shevchenko was awarded an UFC contract following this win. Antonina Shevchenko made her UFC debut UFC in the TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko lost to Roxanne Modafferi via split decision, after winning her debut fight. Antonina recovered from the loss to beat Lucie Pudilova via rear-naked choking submission in the second round at UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned an extra fight in the night in this fight. Shevchenko had a win in her first three bouts, but lost them to Katlyn Cahookagian, Andrea Lee and Ariane Lipski. Antonina has recently been knocked out by Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
